Palm Bay Skates is a UK-based creative studio based in Scotland run by designer Matt and Sarah Tomkins. Specialising in design, creative direction, embroidery, and print.

Palm Bay Skates began in Cliftonville, Margate, where we started trading from an old tailor's shop over six years ago. Celebrating the creativity and DIY ethos of early skateboarding culture we opened our doors selling baseball jerseys, skateboards, t-shirts, and hoodies handmade in his workshop. Since then the brand has significantly changed. We now offer a wide range of services including art direction, bespoke sampling, specialist embroidery including chenille and chainstitch, and both small and large-scale production.

We have also created immersive spaces for pop-ups and special events. With extensive experience in various roles within the luxury fashion industry, our skills cover a broad spectrum of design, sampling, and development.
